Why Solar for Your Home?
Installation Process
01
Initial Consultation
We start with a conversation about your property, roof type, current energy bills and goals. Using this information, we can outline likely system sizes, expected benefits and indicative pricing before any site visit.
Survey and Feasibility
A detailed survey allows us to confirm roof condition, available space, access, cable routes and any shading issues from chimneys, trees or nearby buildings. If needed, we can arrange structural checks to ensure your roof can safely carry the additional load.
02
03
Design, Modelling & Proposal
Using the survey data, we design your system and model expected energy generation over the year, taking into account orientation, pitch and shading. You receive a clear proposal showing panel layout, equipment specifications, estimated annual output, potential bill savings and an indication of simple payback time.
Installation
On the agreed date, our installation team arrives on site, sets up safely and carries out the roof and electrical works. Panels, mounting kit, inverters and cabling are installed according to the design, with care taken to protect your property and keep disruption to a minimum. Most domestic solar installations take between one and two days on site, depending on system size and complexity.

05
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
Once installation is complete, we test the system, commission the inverter and monitoring equipment, and check that everything is operating correctly and safely. We show you how to read any meters or monitoring apps and explain the normal behaviour you should expect throughout the year.
Documentation & Aftercare
You receive relevant documentation such as handover information, product warranties, installer certificates and guidance on system operation and maintenance. We can also discuss options for routine checks or maintenance visits to help keep your system performing well in the long term.
